Currently patients with neurodegenerative condition such as Parkinson's disease, cannot be studied in a Magnetoencephalography (MEG) scanner. Prof Gary Green of the University of York will lead the team of experts in hardware, software and clinical application who will develop devices to allow measurements of brain activity to be made despite patient movement.
