Chronic wounds are difficult to heal and there are few effective multi purpose therapies to improve wound closure. This innovative multi-disciplinary project plans to develop a novel ozone based therapy that will have multiple therapeutic effects on the wound. Dr Chedly Tizaoui from the University of Bradford is an expert in ozone systems, and is working on this project with Professor Peter Vowden a Consultant Vascular Surgeon and world leader in wound healing, and Dr Patrick Trotter of InnProMa. Dr Trotter has vast Industry experience and has a track record in developing wound care products.
