This project will evaluate the use of novel orthopaedic ceramic cements for dental applications. These funds will allow members of the Biomaterials Group from the School of Clinical Dentistry, led by Prof Paul Hatton, to assess these materials in collaboration with Smith and Nephew and members of the Sheffield NHS Hospitals Foundation Trust to appraise their suitability for clinical use.
