The management of chronic and acute wounds is a complex and dynamic process both in primary and secondary care. A number of products are available to manage the problem wound, but the decision of which to use is complex. This project aims to develop a one step, colourmetric, point of care diagnostic to determine the status of a wound. Dr Stephen Britland and Dr Annie Smith from the University of Bradford are collaborating with Professor Peter Vowden from Bradford NHS Foundation Trust on this innovative project.
