Specialist renal units have substantial patient databases of bio-data and other disease indicators. A collaboration between the Computer Science department of the University of York, Cybula Ltd and the Renal Unit at Leeds NHS Trust will assess the efficacy of interventions from the complex data. Chronic Disease Assessment Tool (Chrodat) will create a clinical management tool for diseases such as chronic kidney disease. This clinical assessment software will also act as a motivational tool for patients.
