CPD 4 Health Innovation is a new training provision for the region founded and jointly funded by the White Rose Health Innovation Partnership along with Yorkshire Forward. There are still a few places remaining on an intensive part-funded (up to 80%) four day professional development course exploring the impact of health technology assessment on uptake of innovative technologies.

This course will take place in York and will benefit from the expertise of the York Health Economics Consortium (YHEC) who are world leaders in HTA provision.

The increasing emphasis on evidence-based, cost-effective purchasing of medical technologies has created the need to provide on-going training in health technology assessment to the industry and local decision makers. The Health Technology Assessment (HTA) CPD course has been designed specifically to meet these needs. The course examines the practical application of HTA to product development and the use of HTA in different countries.
